Johnson & Perrott Fleet Marks Five Years of Support for Rás na mBan

Johnson & Perrott Fleet was proud to return as the official motoring partner of Rás na mBan in 2026, providing the vehicles and logistical support needed to help keep Ireland’s leading international women’s cycling stage race moving safely and smoothly.

Held from 2–6 September, the 2026 event was a particularly significant occasion as Rás na mBan celebrated its 20th edition. It also marked the fifth successive year that Johnson & Perrott Fleet has supported the race, continuing a partnership built around reliability, teamwork and a shared commitment to women’s cycling in Ireland.

What is Rás na mBan?

Rás na mBan is Ireland’s premier international women’s stage race and one of the most important events on the Irish cycling calendar. The race attracts leading riders and teams from Ireland and overseas for several days of competitive racing across challenging routes in and around Kilkenny and the surrounding counties.

Staging an international cycling event of this scale requires detailed planning and close coordination. Riders may be at the centre of the action, but race officials, organisers, medical personnel, volunteers and support teams must travel safely and efficiently throughout every stage.

That is where dependable transport and fleet support become an essential part of the event.

Keeping the race moving

As official motoring partner, Johnson & Perrott Fleet supplied specially branded vehicles for use throughout Rás na mBan 2026. Operating within the race cavalcade and across the wider event, the vehicles supported the organisers, officials and operational teams responsible for delivering the race.
