Rás na mBan 2026

With the 20th edition of Rás na mBan Women's International Cycle Race getting underway next week, we are pleased to share our full interview with Johnson & Perrott Fleet brand ambassador Lara Gillespie. Our Managing Director, Jonathan O'Brien, caught up with Lara at our Fleet headquarters in Tallaght to discuss her journey through cycling—from getting started and receiving the support of local clubs to becoming a world champion.

Lara also shares an honest insight into the preparation required to compete at the highest level, including nutrition, travel, sleep, recovery and the importance of strong communication with coaches and trainers.
